The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation has been supporting activities since 2008 when they funded the INTERGROWTH-21st study and then the INTERBIO-21st study in 2011. The foundation consequently awarded further funding in 2021 to allow the team to analyse the data and samples collected in INTERBIO-21st study.
