Dr Adele Winsey
After completing a PhD and research fellowship in Organometallic Chemistry at Magdalene College Cambridge, I joined the NHS graduate recruitment scheme and trained as a public finance accountant (CIPFA).
After qualifying, I worked in a variety of finance and operational management roles across the NHS in both acute and community trusts, as well as 2 years working in a finance role for the charity Oxfam.
More recently I worked in the Children's and Women's Division at the at the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust initially as the Divisional Accountant and then 3 years as Deputy General Manager.
I have been the manager of the INTERGROWTH-21st Secretariat since 2018 where I work with the wider team on all aspects of the INTERGROWTH-21st consortium.
