INTER-NDA Standards
The INTERGROWTH-21st Neurodevelopment Package is an internationally valid, rapid, standardised assessment of cognitive, motor, language, and behaviour skills for children aged 2 years whose norms are the first standards of early child development, constructed according to the WHO Multicentre Growth Reference Study's guidelines. It was developed by the INTERGROWTH-21st Project at the University of Oxford in 2012.
INTER-NDA Web App
Since June 2023, a web app calculator for the implementation of the INTER-NDA assessment is available online. Assessors are able to use the app to:
- Input the child's name, age, and date of assessment
- Follow the assessment and input the child's scores in the calculator
- Receive in less than 60 seconds the full results and scores and identify risks
- Download in PDF the full report
Impact
The package has been used in both the INTERGROWTH-21st and INTERBIO-21st studies as well as a number of other studies around the world. The following sites have fully implemented the use of the INTER-NDA standards:
